Meet Maxine

I’ve been an esthetician for 36 years, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that taking care of someone’s skin is only part of what happens in the treatment room.

Sometimes you come in because your skin is dry, irritated, breaking out, or simply not looking the way you want it to.

And sometimes you come in because life has been a lot.

You’re tired. You’re overwhelmed. You’re grieving. You spend most of your time taking care of everyone else and can’t remember the last time someone took care of you.

There’s room for all of that here.

I created Erickson Esthetics six years ago because I wanted to practice esthetics differently. I believe in results, but I don’t believe a facial needs to feel clinical or impersonal to get them. My approach combines decades of experience, professional skincare, thoughtful techniques, and a lot of hands-on care.

I want you to feel comfortable here. You don’t need perfect skin. You don’t need to know what treatment to book or which ingredients your skin needs. You don’t even need to feel particularly put together that day.

You just need to show up. I’ll take it from there.

Every treatment is chosen and adjusted for the person on my table—not just the skin condition written on the appointment.

And while I absolutely want you to leave with healthier, happier, glowing skin, I want something else too:

I want you to leave feeling a little lighter than when you walked in.

I can’t fix everything waiting for you outside my treatment room. But I do know I can positively soothe and recharge one person at a time.

That has always been the heart of Erickson Esthetics.

It’s also why I created Exhale, my 90-minute restorative facial experience for the seasons when you need more than skincare. For grief. For exhaustion. For overwhelm. For loneliness. For feeling a little lost. Or simply because you’ve been holding everything together for everyone else for too long.

We are all told to breathe.

But no one reminds us to Exhale.

So come in.
