New in the Treatment Room

Q: I've never had a facial before, which one should I get?

A: The Traditional Facial is a great place to start. You'll get a taste of everything. Together we can decide if you need more or not as much for your next appointment.

Q: I've never had waxing before, Does it hurt?

A: Pain is relative. While I try my absolute best to make you as comfortable as possible and all my knowledge skills to be as gentle as I can be, will it hurt you? I honestly can't say. If you have a high threshold, most likely it will not at all.

Q: How long does my hair growth have to be to get waxed?

A: At least 1/4", the length of a grain of rice for the best results. 10 - 14 days after shaving is a good average. **Please note here, I will not trim hair before your service. Fly away hairs are nearly impossible to clean up completely. It's just not sanitary in my professional opinion.

Together, we will look at your lifestyle, what you ingest as well as what you put on topically. Healing acne is not an over night - one size fits all process. Just as you are a unique individual, so is your acne and the way it is treated, healed, and kept under control.

COVID, the Flu, & Other virus Policies

As with all viruses and bacteria, sanitation and disinfection are key to stopping any spread.

To help slow the spread of COVID, the Flu and other viruses, I am taking extra safety measures on top of the State Board of Maryland's disinfection and sanitation requirements for salons and esthetic rooms. (which are governed under the health and medical board and are pretty strict.)

Masking has long been a thing of the past, however, sadly my mother was severely effected by Covid. So bad in fact that we had to move her in with me so I can help take care of her. Her lungs are terribly scarred and she is now wickedly immunocompromised. All that to say - I will be wearing a mask during all appointments so I do not take anything back to her. And no, I do not expect you to wear one.

All services are by appointment only, one client at a time, and no walk-ins.
Hand soap and sanitizer will be available for you and is encouraged.
I no longer use steam for facials, Instead, I have lots of steamy hot towels that most like better. The steamer is believed to blow virus particles around the room and therefore deemed a potential hazard.
A UV-C air purifying system that kills bacteria and viruses will be running before, during, and after all services.
At checkout, you can pay by cash, card or use touchless payments like Cash App, Venmo, and Zelle.
At this time, there is NO cancellation fee. So PLEASE stay home if you are feeling sick or showing any symptoms of illness. If you have to cancel, I ask that you give 24-48 hours notice so I may open the appointment to others.
There will be added time between each appointment for sanitation and disinfection. As always, you can rest assured, all tools will be disinfected and sanitized and all bedding will be clean for your appointment.
