Finding someone to perform such personal services whom you can trust and who is also knowledgeable and skilled can be a little scary. I want to take that away by walking you through my sight to booking and how to choose which services with confidence and ease.
Decide what basic service you are looking for, a facial, a waxing, relaxation, or eyebrow tinting. There will be some information to gather for your first time, so I am sure to meet your expectations. Please select "consultation" to add to your appointment. It's free and will add extra time without having to come in early and sit in the waiting area.
Once you have chosen the perfect service, click the schedule now link to my schedule. Scroll and select all the services you want, and my days and times available will come up. Then you choose the day and time that works best for you. Easy!
After scheduling, you should receive a confirmation text about your new upcoming appointment. If there is a problem, do not worry, I will make it right. If you need to reschedule or cancel, do so as soon as possible. Please do not reply to the text. You can reschedule yourself using the same site you scheduled on, you can call me, or you can email me. If you are scheduling a facial, you will be asked to fill out a guest enhancement form in the confirmation text. Please pay attention to this, as it is the first step in creating the perfect customized appointment just for you. It can make a regular facial feel like a luxury.
24-48 hours before your appointment, you will receive a reminder text or email about your upcoming appointment—no need to respond. If something does come up, please call or email me as soon as possible so I can open the time for others.
On the day of your appointment, you will arrive at Uruguay Beauty Salon, a cute little white building that looks like a house with a red tin roof. There is free parking behind the building with access to the right (if you're facing us), or you can park directly out front. If you choose to park out front, please be aware that Holabird Ave. can be a pretty busy street - be mindful of getting in and out of your car.
Come inside! I will be at the front waiting to meet you! As we are walking back to my treatment room, you will get a quick tour, so you know where everything is. Once in the room, I will offer you bottled water. Once settled, I will need you to fill out a guest consultation form. No big deal, just a few questions to which you know all the answers - I promise! These are kept confidential and locked away in a safe place where only I can access them. When you've finished, we can begin my formal consultation. You will tell me why you are here and your desired results. Together, we will develop a plan, go over expectations and commitments, and then we can get started.
I will explain everything to you every step of the way, or if you prefer to rest and recharge, I can be quiet as a mouse. Remember, this is your appointment, and I am here to make you as comfortable as possible while delivering the desired results. We are in this together.
When the service is over, if it is a facial, you will have a few minutes to wake up slowly, get dressed, and then we can talk about how your skin looks and feels. If it is waxing, after you confirm you are happy, we can head to the checkout for waxing and tinting. I can take almost any card or cash. We will discuss the best time to come back to maintain your results.
Generally speaking, these are the time frames per service:
Tinting - every 3- 4 weeks
Hair Removal: Every 4 weeks will get your hair on the same growth schedule.
Maintenance Facials - Every 4-6 weeks to clean out pores and to promote the 28-day cellular turnover rate.
Targeting Facials - Every week - 4 weeks, depending on the goal.
